On March 21st, people around the world come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks. The date is symbolic because people with Down syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome, which look like mismatched socks. We will be selling the official socks and inviting students and their families to wear them to mass on Sunday, March 29th and to school on Tuesday, March 21st. All proceeds benefit the Down Syndrome of Delaware. Youth socks are recommended for children 6 and below. Adult socks will fit most older children through adults. The cost is $4/pair.
