What a week celebrating our school and parish community! From student lectors and greeters at mass to personalized tours during Open House with coffee and donuts; Benny the Bulldog greeting parents and students with our appreciation through thank you cards and a nail-biting spelling bee; Making hundreds of lunches and blessing bags for the Ministry of Caring and raised a record amount from over 200 donors in support of our school projects along with a fun game of "JeoPARTY" for all grades; Serving over 1000 pancakes to hungry students while playing card and board games and watching adults struggle to reclaim their youth at dodgeball; Enjoying dressing silly and appreciating our AMAZING faculty with a wonderful lunch; And finally receiving the traditional St. Blaise blessing of the throats and prayer for all illnesses while enjoying a movie and popcorn with classmates. All of these events contribute to an important reminder of what Catholic education stands for: faith, excellence, and service in all things. As always- but especially during Catholic Schools Week- it's a great day to be a Bulldog!
