Hello K-C Parents,
This year our school theme is "Called to Serve". Each month we have been focusing on a different Corporal Work of Mercy. During the month of January, we will share ways to "Clothe the Naked". STARTING NEXT WEEK, WE WILL BE COLLECTING NEW SOCKS OF VARIOUS SIZES FOR MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN, AS DONATIONS FOR THE MINISTRY OF CARING. YOUR GENEROSITY IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. Donations will be accepted through 2/26. Whichever class brings in the most socks, wins a free tag day and ice cream treat. Thank you in advance for your generous support!
Now that the weather is getting cooler, a reminder that the children should wear their navy blue fleece with their regular school uniform and their gray gym uniform sweatshirt with their gym uniform. They can wear a different sweater or fleece to school to be worn outside. Students cannot wear their regular jackets or sweaters in the classroom.
We are 20 points away from earning our third Dojo Party!
If your child has a summer birthday and you would like to celebrate it early this year please send me an email. Birthday treats must be store-bought and individually wrapped.
Have a great weekend!
Blizzard Packs
Dr. Lou D’Angelo, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, has stated that we will not be making up any snow days missed for the school year (2020-2021). In place of these potentially missed school days, teachers were asked to make up a packet of schoolwork for students to complete on a snow day. There is a Math and Language Arts page for each missed school day. For example, if we miss one day of school, then students would do all Day 1 work. There is enough work in this packet for 5 days of Math and Language Arts. Please return your child’s work within one week of each missed snow day.
Thank you!
