We are proud to announce that St. Mary Magdalen School has been awarded the highest honor given by the Ministry of Caring, the Caring Bowl. This award is given to honor outstanding individuals and groups who have given generously of their time, talent and resources in dedicated service to the homeless and poor over many years.
Principal Patrick Tiernan, Student Activities Coordinator Tina Gillen, and several Student Council Officers, Grace S., Chase M., and Joe J. were awarded the bowl at the Ministry's Annual Recognition Dinner by Brother Ronald, founder of the Ministry of Caring, and Patricia Rakestraw, Deputy Director.
We are honored and humbled by this award, and will continue to serve those in need through our partnership with the The Ministry of Caring Inc. It is our honor to serve the greater community and to teach our students the value of compassion and service!
